History

San Andreas Community Covenant Church has been a part of the life of San Andreas and Calaveras County since the 1860’s.  We are your neighbors and friends who live, work and play in Calaveras County.  We are a member of a larger family of churches known as the Evangelical Covenant Church (http://www.covchurch.org/) with five sister churches right here in Calaveras County.

What We Believe

SACCC is part of the Evangelical Covenant Church. For Covenant people, our essential beliefs are summed up in what we call Covenant Affirmations:

  • We affirm the centrality of the word of God.

  • We affirm the necessity of the new birth.

  • We affirm a commitment to the whole mission of the church.

  • We affirm the church as a fellowship of believers.

  • We affirm a conscious dependence on the Holy Spirit.

  • We affirm the reality of freedom in Christ.

Our Vision and Mission

  • Attract and develop lifelong followers of Jesus within a healthy vibrant Christ centered community.

  • Engage in acts of compassion, mercy and justice locally and globally.

  • Grow the next generation.

  • Walk by Faith not by Sight.

  • Faithfully use our God given resources.
